I'm running a credit check on an applicant for rentals.

When filling out a the credit check application, there's an option for:

Include Co-Applicant - (Include Co-Applicant reports)

Is this included in the price of the credit check?

Or does it cost additional to include a Co-Applicant?

thank you,

Tommy

Hi Tommy,

Each applicant is run individually whether they are applicant or co-applicant. Even if they are a married couple they are still individually run. The high rate of divorce has forced the credit bureaus to stop doing combined reports. Each applicants reports are $24.95. If you as the landlord run them and are a member of the monthly Renting Authority program the price is reduced to $13.95 each.

Good luck with your rental!

Shawndra
