I have an applicant that is trying to tell me i have to accept them because they are section 8. Am I obligated to accept section 8 applicants?

Jocelyn,
You need to check with your states housing authority. Most states a landlord fills out paperwork with the state before accepting section 8 housing.

Hi Troy. Thanks for the speedy reply. We've had great results after chatting online with your service (AJ) and were able to change our profile information. We really appreciate a company such as “Rental Authority” and will use it for now on.
By the way, are there any articles about Section 8 applicants, pls? We have an interested applicant who does not work due to epilepsy. I'll check the “education training” for an answer. It may be there.
