Month -to-month Rent

Hello,

I have a studio apt and a young lady wants to rent it, but she does not want to sign a year lease. She wants to pay month to month. Do you think this is a good practice?

Regards,

George

Month -to-month Rent

George,
many landlords do offer month to month leases.  This causes additional work for you. You spend a lot more time looking for tenants.  If you want to rent your property and not worry about searching for tenants constantly - don't do a month to month.
If you don't mind - offer a month to month lease. Many landlords charge higher rent when they offer a month to month lease.  This offsets the additional effort you put into finding tenants.

I hope this helps,
Troy
